Former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Ian Ziering is now a Chippendale’s dancer — at least for the time being.

Zieiring, who played Steve Sanders on the original Fox series in the ’90s, debuted as a guest headliner with the popular male revue, last weekend in Las Vegas, according to abcnews.com.

Ziering, 49, said he dieted for the past three months and lost 25 pounds to get himself into shape for his new role.

The fact that he’s married with an infant daughter made that difficult, he said. “As the weight came off, the flirty texts started to appear,” Ziering said on “GMA” of his wife’s reaction to his new physique.

Ziering, a former contestant on “Dancing With the Stars,” said his wife encouraged him to take the role when it was offered to him.

He also said he’ll try to get his former co-stars in on the Chippendale’s action. He said Jennie Garth tweeted him that she plans to attend the show, while Jason Priestly and Luke Perry have both called to say they also plan to attend, according to the report.

“I’ve got to get a call to Shannen [Doherty] and Gabrielle [Carteris] and the other girls . . . maybe I can get them out here to have a party,” he said. Ziering will appear as a guest headliner through June 30.
