A 14-year-old Queens girl yesterday testified that her teacher back in the third grade molested not only her but also an assistant teacher on a regular basis.
“I tried to tell my mother at the end of the third grade, but I didn’t know how to explain it to her,” said the girl, who first came forward in 2010.
Simon Watts is on trial on three counts of sexual conduct against a child and related charges. Four girls and a boy, all 8 or 9 years old, have said Watts, a married father, improperly touched them or forced them to fondle him.
Watts, now 42, taught third- and fourth-graders at Jackie Robinson Elementary in Springfield Gardens in 2007.
