Officer-slay tongue lash

He should have kept his mouth shut.

Jurors who will decide whether cop killer Ronell Wilson lives or dies can hear that he stuck his tongue out at his victims’ family members after his 2007 death sentence, a Brooklyn federal judge ruled yesterday.

Wilson, 31, was convicted of the 2003 murders of NYPD detectives Rodney Andrews and James Nemorin during a gun-buy sting.

An appeals court overturned his death sentence because of a prosecutorial error. Wilson’s retrial begins Monday.

Prosecutors said the slain officers’ widows will testify that Wilson directed the crude gesture at them after he was sentenced.

His attorneys argued that the incident should not be introduced at his trial because it was unclear at whom he directed the gesture.

“Because Wilson demonstrated a disregard for his penalty — indeed, the most severe penalty — a reasonable jury could infer that he is more likely to commit serious acts of violence in the future because he would not sufficiently consider any possible punishment before acting,” Judge Nicholas Garaufis wrote in his decision.
