Paralympian and Team USA member Ryan Chalmers arrived in Central Park yesterday morning after racing for 70 days across the country in his custom-designed aluminum wheelchair.
The New Yorker launched Push Across America to raise awareness about people with disabilities. Chalmers, 24, who was born with spina bifida, left Los Angeles on April 6 and averaged speeds of 10 to 12 mph in his aerodynamic three-wheel chair.
