A man pulled a knife on a guard while stealing 96 rolls of toilet paper from Red Hook supermarket

When ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

A thief, answering the call of nature, pulled a knife on a security guard at a Brooklyn supermarket when the worker tried to stop him from stealing toilet paper, police said.

The assailant loaded up on eight packages of 12-count Scott toilet tissue at 9:45 a.m. June 30 at the Fairway Market on Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, police said.

The unknown robber tried to walk out of the store with the 96 rolls of TP when the security guard intervened, cops said.

The two started to tussle, at which point the suspect threatened the guard with a knife, cops said.

The crook fled with his loot, police said.

The assailant is described as 5-foot-7 and 165 pounds.
