RAPPER IN DA COURTHOUSE

A rapper sarcastically dismissed his Manhattan Criminal Court appearance as “my first event for today,” before he embarked on a slew of promotional appearances to celebrate the launch of his new album yesterday.

Jim Jones, 32, rejected a plea deal in which he would perform 10 days of community service in exchange for pleading guilty to beating up the manager of hip-hop artist Ne-Yo in the Fifth Avenue Louis Vuitton store on Dec. 22. The manager, Jayvon Smith, has since sued Jones for $7million.

“I came to court so I don’t get a warrant,” Jones said outside court.

He later attended a slew of events, including a visit to the Virgin Megastore in Union Square, where he signed copies of his album “Pray IV Reign.”

His court date is set for April 21.
