‘DARK’ GREED EYED IN CONDO SLAYS

Two Liberian immigrants shot to death in a former Jets linebacker’s Long Island condo may have been targeted for revenge over a scheme that conned gullible people into thinking black paper was money.

Sekou Sakor, 31, and Ansu Keita, 32, both of The Bronx, were likely killed by victims of the fake-money scheme, NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said yesterday.

Con men involved in “black paper” scams show paper the size of bills to people they’re trying to cheat. They claim they had to dye it black to smuggle it out of a country, and a special chemical will restore the bills. They offer to sell it for pennies on the dollar, and of course it turns out to be worthless.

The condo owner, Jonathan Vilma, is not believed to be a target of the probe.
