Oprah down

It wasn’t exactly a November to remember for Oprah Winfrey.

Ratings for “Oprah” were down 4 percent last month compared to Nov. ’08.

And that was with shows featuring Sarah Palin, chimp-maul victim Charla Nash and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi discussing their marriage.

Winfrey herself even made news, using her Nov. 20 show to announce that she’s leaving “Oprah” in two years to devote her energies to her OWN cable network.

“Oprah” averaged a 5.4 rating last month, compared to a 5.6 in Nov. ’08, according to Nielsen data.

The show averaged 7.5 million viewers — down from 7.6 million the previous November.
