Sheen could return to ‘Two and a Half Men’

Charlie Sheen has left the door open to returning to “Two and a Half Men.”

Sheen, who reportedly told friends he was done with his hit CBS sitcom, which wrapped production on its seventh season yesterday, issued a statement to people.com indicating there’s some wiggle room for his return.

“If tonight’s show is the end for me as Charlie Harper, so be it,” Sheen said. “Another journey has begun.”

Sheen, 44, also blasted published reports that he’s demanding $1 million per episode to return for an eighth season of “Men,” on which he stars with Jon Cryer.

He earned a reported $825,000-per-episode this season, which amounts to over $18 million.

“All of the numbers reported in the press are false,” he said. “Claims from ‘inside sources’ regarding offers from the studio as well as my salary, on their best day, are without merit.”

Last Christmas Day, Sheen was arrested and accused of assaulting his wife, Brooke Mueller, in Aspen, Colo.

He has pleaded not guilty, with his trial set for July 21.
