Things turned ugly for the Giants quickly as the Cowboys, led by quarterback Jon Kitna, filling in for an injured Tony Romo, jumped off to a 9-3 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Giants had only given up five pass plays of 30 yards or more through their first eight games: the same number they gave up through the first three quarters of yesterday’s game.

Kitna threw for 327 yards, including touchdown passes to Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Felix Jones. Jones scored on a 71-yard screen pass in the third quarter, after the first of two power outages, putting the Cowboys up 26-6.
