PSAL boys basketball roundup: Stark leads RFK past Harris

Trevor Stark scored 26 points, grabbed nine rebounds and added seven assists as Robert F. Kennedy topped Townsend Harris, 79-56, in Queens B East boys basketball Thursday night.

Tevin Richardson followed with 14 points and Khalid Yousef added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Panthers (7-2). Edward Caraccioli had 16 points and 12 rebounds, David Weeks had 15 points and Connor Doyle notched 14 for Townsend Harris (5-4).

All City Leadership 82, Juan Morel Campos 42: Marcellas Anderson had 27 points and 14 rebounds, Carlton Miller notched 18 points and Brandon Williams had nine points and 14 rebounds for All City Leadership (7-1, Brooklyn B East), which outscored Juan Morel Campos (1-8), 41-13, in the second and third quarters.

Eleanor Roosevelt 73, Baruch College 36: Erando Halilaj had 24 points and 16 rebounds, Taulant Ibraj followed with 23 points and Robert Borusiewicz had eight points and 12 rebounds for Eleanor Roosevelt (10-0) in Manhattan B-1. Baruch College is 3-6.

Teachers Prep 78, Bushwick Leaders 76: Reatt Foster exploded for 20 points, Andre Menner had 13 points and nine rebounds and Craig Battle had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Teachers Prep (8-1) in Brooklyn B East. Bushwick Leaders is 6-2.

Pathways 67, Renaissance 32: Tyree Mosby had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Jordan Washington added 12 points and Kyle John had 10 for undefeated Pathways (9-0) in Queens B East. Renaissance is 3-6.

East Harlem Pride 91, University Neighborhood 53: Ivan Morales tallied 30 points, 11 rebounds and four assists and Lazarus Bennett scored 20 points for East Harlem Pride (11-0) in Manhattan B-2. University Neighborhood is 1-8.

Metropolitan 60, Leadership Institute 53: Desmond Byfield scored 18 points and Jaelyn Johnson had 17 points and 12 rebounds for Metropolitan (10-3) in Bronx B East. Leadership Institute is 3-11.

Bathgate 75, Law, Government & Justice 30: Benjamin Smith scored 17 points, Albert Gonzalez had 14 points and 11 assists and Kelvin Mejia notched 12 points for Bathgate (5-9, Bronx B East), which limited winless Law, Government & Justice (0-13) to 11 second-half points.

Health Profession 73, Marta Valle 64: Gelvin Solano made 10-of-14 free throws, scored 35 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Kwame McClatchie notched 21 points and 12 rebounds and Karrim Johnson tallied 10 points for Health Profession (5-5) in Manhattan B-2. Marta Valle is now 1-9.

Fannie Lou Hamer 62, South Bronx Prep 48: Martin Arzu poured in 19 points, Jimeek Conyers had 17 points and eight assists and Jermaine Johnson followed with 13 for Fannie Lou Hamer (11-3), which has won five straight games in Bronx B East. South Bronx Prep is now 7-6.

CLASS AA

No. 2 Boys & Girls 88, Grady 62: Teyvon Myers sank three 3-pointers and poured in 21 points, Mike Taylor notched 18 points and Jeffland Neverson had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Boys & Girls (8-2) in Brooklyn AA. Grady is 2-8.

No. 6 Wadleigh 105, West 50th Street 61: Trivante Bloodman dropped in 37 points, Shaquille Urgent had 18 points and 19 rebounds, Louis Costen had 17 points and 14 rebounds and Basily Harley followed with 14 points and 12 assists for Wadleigh (10-1), which scored at least 23 points in each quarter, in Manhattan AA. West 50th is 2-9.

Bayside 60, Martin Van Buren 45: William Dobie scored 16 points, Uzonna Akazi had 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks and Austin Williams finished with 12 points and three assists for Bayside (7-3) in Queens AA. Martin Van Buren is 3-6.

Thomas Edison 72, Flushing 54: Kris Owens had 29 points and 11 rebounds and Jahvauhnn Johnson notched 21 points and six assists for Edison. The Inventors (2-7) snapped a seven-game losing streak in Queens AA. Flushing is 1-7.

Manhattan Center 80, Thurgood Marshall Academy 46: Khalil Hamer scored 24 points, Timothy Taylor had 22 points and 13 rebounds and Jorden Carter had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Manhattan Center (7-4), which has won four games in a row, in Manhattan AA. Thurgood Marshall is 3-8.

Transit Tech 85, George Westinghouse 62: Shaquille Paugh scored 25 points, Anthony Prescott added 17 points and Richard Williams had 16 for Transit Tech (2-8), which led 46-28 at halftime, in Brooklyn AA. George Westinghouse is also 2-8.

Far Rockaway 53, Hillcrest 47: Warren Saylor Jr. totaled 17 points and five rebounds, Raymond Conley had 11 points and Chris Green grabbed 12 rebounds for Far Rockaway (6-3) in Queens A East. Hillcrest falls to 2-8.

Murry Bergtraum 85, Richard Green 37: Terron Lemons and Luis Tejada each scored 12 points, Michael Goodridge had 11 points and Key Jonta Foster had 10 for Murry Bergtraum (5-4) in Manhattan A Southwest. Richard Green is 2-7 in Manhattan A East.
