Thief takes selfie with stolen phone

DCPI

A dimwitted thief snatched a woman’s cellphone on the subway in Brooklyn — then implicated himself with a shirtless selfie he took with the stolen device.
The dope was riding a Manhattan bound “L” train June 2 about 1:30 a.m. when he swiped the phone from a 30-year-old woman as the  train was stopped at the Morgan Avenue station, cops said.
The crook fled the train and ran from the station.
At some point, the suspect posed in front of a mirror and took a photo of himself flashing a sign with the woman’s iPhone.

The photo was automatically uploaded to the victim’s iCloud account –  and she then passed it along to police.
The suspect is believed to be in his 20s and, during the robbery, was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and green camouflage pants.
