Jared Fogle beaten up by ‘vigilante’ in prison

A convicted felon pummeled Subway pitchman-turned-pedophile Jared Fogle — and is proudly passing out the incident report of the knuckle-sandwich smackdown to his fellow inmates.

Steven Nigg, a 60-year-old armed robber serving time at Colorado’s Englewood FCI, can’t stop bragging about the details of the January recreation yard beating, according to The Smoking Gun.

Nigg was allegedly caught on a jail camera “pushing Fogle to the ground and striking Fogle multiple times in the face with a closed fist,” according to the formal report.

The fight only left Nigg with a cut on his hand, but Fogle, the former Subway hawker who is serving a 16-year-sentence for possession of child pornography and paying to have sex with minors, was beaten bloody.

The report from the Jan. 29 attack says Fogle was left with “a bloody nose, scratches to his neck and redness and swelling to his face.”

Nigg unleashed his barrage after reaching his boiling point over the number of child sex predators housed in the low-security facility, his relatives told TMZ.

He was punished for his vigilante vengeance with a stint in solitary.

Nigg is a career criminal, currently behind bars through January 2024 on weapons charges related to an armed robbery. He has several priors including a slew of felony charges related to an Arizona crime spree in 1976.

Fogle, a father of two whose claims that he lost 200 pounds by eating Subway foot-longs led to his hiring as the company’s spokesman, confessed to having sex with teenage prostitutes.

He has been stress-eating behind bars amid threats and taunts — fellow inmates have called him “Chomo,” short for child molester — and has gained about 30 pounds.

Fogle was recently slapped by an inmate who had called him a “dirty child rapist,” a recently released prisoner said.

His earliest possible release date is July 11, 2029.
