Bernie Sanders and Hillary deadlocked in Nevada poll

Hillary Clinton is no longer a sure political bet in the gambling mecca of Nevada, according to a poll released Friday.

Bernie Sanders is now in a crap shoot with Clinton, with both getting 45 percent of the support among Democrats likely to participate in the state’s Feb. 20 caucuses, a Washington Free Beacon survey shows.

The poll of 1,236 likely voters was taken between Feb. 8 and 10, which included a period after the Feb. 9 New Hampshire primary, where the Vermont senator crushed Clinton by 22 points.

The Real Clear Politics average of prior polls taken in December showed Clinton leading Sanders by 20 points in Nevada.

In another blow for Clinton, a new survey by Morning Consult found Sanders closing ground.

He received 39 percent to Clinton’s 46 percent among Democrats nationwide.

Previous polls showed Clinton with a lead twice as large.

The Republican presidential race, meanwhile, continues to be dominated by Donald Trump.

Morning Consult had him at 44 percent, followed by Ted Cruz at 17 — one of Trump’s largest margins yet.
