Rapper Kanye West claims he’s $53 million in debt — sending out a series of cryptic tweets Saturday night before releasing his new album online.
“I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt… Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart…” he wrote on Twitter before taking the stage as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.”
After the performance, where Yeezy sang two new songs, he dropped “The Life of Pablo” online, crashing his Web site.
The “Gold Digger” singer, who debuted his third clothing line in collaboration with Adidas last week, is worth an estimated $100 million. His reality TV star wife, Kim Kardashian, adds at least $85 million to his fortune.
