After the Denver Broncos scored a touchdown in Super Bowl 50 to go up 22-10 late in the fourth quarter, cameras panned to the Manning suite, where everyone appeared overjoyed … except New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
The narrative became that the younger Manning was jealous — or some equally ignorant iteration. More plausible: Eli is a QB who has played enough tight games that he knew it was far too early to uncork champagne and was wondering if the Broncos would go for two.
Peyton knows that, too, but it didn’t stop him from having fun at Blank Stare Eli’s expense during his Wednesday appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.
