2 stabbed inside Rutgers residence hall

Two people were stabbed in a Rutgers University dorm and a suspect was quickly arrested, it was reported Friday night.

The violence took place around 7 p.m. in the lobby of a freshman residence hall on the New Brunswick, NJ campus, CBS News said.

“The kid was like cut up on the stomach,’’ witness Regina Pellegri told CBS.

Freshman Colin Sheehan said people were “screaming and freaking.’’

The suspect was also injured, CBS said, quoting witnesses saying he was taken out in handcuffs on a stretcher.

The condition of the three were not known.

Cops investigating the violence went to a local home hours later and found large amounts of cash and drugs, according to CBS.

They also found a naked man pacing back and forth.
