In a night of mayhem on the roads, three people were killed and another critically injured in four accidents this weekend.
On City Island, a hit-and-run driver killed 27-year-old Gabriella Aguilar-Vallinos as she rode her bike just after 11:45 p.m. Friday across City Island Road, police said. She was mowed down by a westbound car, whose driver is being sought.
The woman’s identity was withheld pending family notification. The driver was at large.
About 90 minutes later, a 29-year-old man was fatally thrown from his motorcycle as he tried to squeeze between a van and parked cars on Parkside Avenue near Park Circle in Brooklyn, police said.
His identity also was withheld. The van’s driver was not charged.
A half-hour later in The Bronx, a motorcyclist lost control as he zoomed down Commerce Avenue near Newbold Avenue in Westchester Square, cops said.
The biker, 30, who went into a curve going well over the 25 mph limit, slammed his Suzuki into a fence. His passenger, 27, died. Her name was not released.
The driver was in critical condition.
In Queens, an allegedly drunken driver hit a 36-year-old woman at around 4:45 a.m., cops said.
She was jaywalking across 27th Avenue near Astoria Boulevard in East Elmhurst when she was hit and critically injured by a northbound Chevy Suburban, cops said.
The driver, Oscar Ceballos, 52, was charged with DWI.
