Stephen Colbert interviews Eminem on public access show

Is there anything Stephen Colbert can’t do?

The late-night host doesn’t make his “Late Show” debut until September, but he’s getting in some pre-premiere practice on public access TV in Monroe, Mich.

Colbert recently filled in as host of the station’s “Only in Monroe” program, where he interviewed rapper and famous Michigander Eminem as well as cracked jokes about the southeastern Michigan town and questioned the public access show’s hosts.

The 41-minute video was posted on Wednesday by Colbert’s official YouTube channel, where he’s been uploading videos in advance of his official debut responding to the marriage equality ruling, reacting to Donald Trump’s run for president and shaving his beard.

“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” premieres Sept. 8 on CBS.
