Flipper to the rescue!
While shooting an upcoming spread in the Bahamas, Miami Heat dancer Teressa Cee thought her cell phone had perished into the deep blue sea after a friend accidentally dropped it in the water.
Fortunately for her, dolphins are trained to retrieve things that come their way as the fish nabbed the cell phone before it hit the ocean floor.
“True story: While in the Bahamas, I had the opportunity to go swimming with dolphins on #BlueLagoonIsland. We were filming on this floating platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean,” she shared on Instagram. “So, against my better judgment I asked someone to hold my phone for me and he accidentally dropped my phone into water and it sank to the bottom. Cacique, the dolphin, actually retrieved my phone and brought it back up to me. Cutest thing ever!”
The phone was unusable, but that might be the best way to “lose” it.
