French minister blasts Obama for vacationing during Iraq crisis

Even the French think President Obama is taking too much time off.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius blasted Obama for taking a two-week vacation on Martha’s Vineyard while Iraq boils over.

“I know it is the holiday period in our Western countries,” Fabius told a French radio interviewer Tuesday. “But when people are dying, you must come back from vacation.”

Obama is scheduled to return to Washington on Sunday for meetings — then head back to the island on Tuesday.
