Brooklyn Tech teacher sent sex photo to teen student: DA

A teacher at the prestigious Brooklyn high school that Dante de Blasio attends was busted for sending an X-rated photo of himself to a 16-year-old female student, authorities said Tuesday.

Brooklyn Tech math and physics instructor Sean Shaynak, 44, wasn’t happy when cops came to arrest him at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, screaming, “F— you, I’m not going anywhere!” court papers state.

Brooklyn Assistant District Attorney Janet Gleeson said in court, “The defendant sent an explicit photo of himself to a student at Brooklyn Tech high school where he is a teacher of math and physics.”

Shaynak sent the sick pic through Snapchat — a service that allows users to send photos that are quickly erased from the recipient’s phone. But the savvy teen recorded the image with her cell phone, Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson said in a press release.

“This is a disturbing allegation, as schools should be safe havens for students where teachers should protect our children from, and not expose them to, such disgusting sexual images,” Thompson said in the statement.

Shaynak also bought cigarettes for the teen and watched her smoke marijuana while they hung out together, authorities said.

The teacher – dressed in jeans, a blue polo shirt, and handcuffs – pleaded not guilty Tuesday to disseminating indecent material to a minor before Brooklyn Supreme Court judge Martin Murphy.

He was arrested after the girl reported the incident to an adult, who told authorities, the DA press release said.

Shaynak was held on $25,000 cash bail.

Meanwhile, the judge ordered a protective order for the teen that included “no contact, including Snapchat or Facebook,” with Shaynak.

Shaynak could face seven years behind bars if convicted of the top count.

Dante de Blasio is the son of Mayor de Blasio.
