5 items we hope to see at Victoria Beckham’s charity sale

If you’re a fan of Victoria Beckham’s smartly tailored shift dresses, figure-flattering pencil skirts or droolworthy shoe collection, you’re in luck: The British fashion icon is paying it forward.

Starting Aug. 20, 600 of her impossibly chic pieces will be up for a grabs in a charity sale on TheOutnet.com.

All proceeds will go to Mother2Mother, a nonprofit that provides support, treatment and preventive programs for women affected by HIV in Africa.

We don’t know which of Posh’s togs will pop up in the sale, but here are five items on our wish list:

A statement dress

Items from Victoria Beckham’s namesake fashion line — like this show-stopper coral gown — made daytime dressing sexy again. Let’s hope this frock she wore to a Chelsea gallery in June makes the cut.

A versatile handbag

Beckham was a pioneer of the “petite gal, big handbag” trend. We’re keeping our eyes peeled for this travel-friendly black leather carryall from her own collection, which she toted through the airport in June.

Sky-high heels

With an arsenal of edgy offerings from brands like Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik, the chic mother of four is no sneaker mom. We’re praying to get our hands on these black suede Alaïa ankle booties she wore in May in New York.

Her signature dark sunglasses

If there’s one fashion accessory you’ll never see Beckham leave home without, it’s a pair of glare-shielding sunnies.

We’re banking on her striking marine cat sunglasses, a cool black Wayfarer she sported from her own collection, to make it into the mix.

Her elegant Met Ball gown

Just in case a last-minute invite to the Met Ball or Golden Globes happens to fall into our laps, we’ll need a stunning evening gown at the ready.

That’s why we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the knockout white column gown Beckham wore to the Met Ball Gala in May.
