A 13-year-old boy who went missing from his Alphabet City home a week ago has still not been found, police said Monday.
Shaun Tanner was last seen at 8:30 a.m. July 28 inside his fourth-floor apartment on East 10th Street near Avenue D, cops said.
Shaun has gone missing before and has a history of running off, cops said. He usually stays away for a few days and then returns home, a source said.
His family reported him missing Saturday — five days after he went missing, cops said.
The teen was last seen wearing navy blue cargo shorts, a navy blue shirt with white lettering, and blue Nike sneakers with an orange stripe, cops said.
