A 55-year-old man found unconscious on a Bronx subway platform Oct. 29 has finally been reunited with his family — thanks to a Facebook posting.
Cops on Saturday released a picture of the unidentified man, Efrain Canales, and WPIX/Ch 11 posted it on the station’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Robert Ortiz spotted the picture on the Channel 11 Facebook page and realized that it looked very much like Canales, who he had seen on a missing persons poster, the station said.
He called Canales’ daughter. She immediately confirmed it was her dad.
Canales remains in critical condition at Jacobi Hospital.
But his family is now at his bedside.
