One of the hottest shows of each season is Marc by Marc Jacobs and for good reason. He always seems to come up with something new while still holding onto the best of the past.
A world traveler with a love of the days-gone-by of the ’80s came to mind from the first look at the spring show. Marc loves baggy and oversized clothing and he embraced it for the boys and the girls with everything from cargo pants for guys to boxy tops for girls. Summer layers from head to toe were piled on to create each look. Multi-pattern scarves adorned heads, necks and waists. Checks and stripes were most prominent on clothing with additions of a few florals and even skull and cross bones for a little youthful flair.
All-in-all the show represented Marc’s strengths, while embracing the “travel” trend that’s hot for spring.
