Not being prez ‘kills me’: Mitt

Watching government gridlock from the sidelines, instead of from the Oval Office, is “killing” Mitt Romney, the former GOP presidential candidate said in his first interview since losing the election in November.

“It kills me not to be there, not to be in the White House doing what needs to be done,” Romney said on “Fox News Sunday” yesterday.

Although criticizing his 2012 rival, President Obama, Romney spread the blame across Capitol Hill.

“This is America we’re talking about. At a critical time, Nero is fiddling,” Romney said.
