Swift & sure: Taylor rips dater haters

Taylor Swift is fed up with being called a lovesick serial dater because she sings about her failed relationships.

“For a female to write about her feelings and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that’s taking something that potentially should be celebrated — a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way — [rather than] taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist,” the 23-year-old singer says in Vanity Fair’s upcoming April issue.

The seven-time Grammy winner — who dons a dazzling gold number for the mag (pictured) — insists that she has dated only two guys since 2010, RFK’s grandson Conor Kennedy and One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.

Those two romances — combined with earlier hookups with Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas and John Mayer, among others — have led critics to label her as obsessed with guys.

“They think they have you pegged, like, ‘Taylor’s boy crazy.’ And it’s why I have to avoid the tabloid part of our culture, because they turn you into a fictional character,” she explains.

“I’m sick of the tabloids saying I obsess over guys. Why would you obsess over guys? They don’t like it.

“If I could find someone who just looked at me like I’m a girl, like a girl they want to be their girlfriend, with all my accomplishments and my criticisms, without this big cartoon character that most people see me as.”

A “friend” said the singer did buy a house near Kennedy in Hyannis Port, Mass. — but only as an investment property that has since been sold.

Swift says a boiling point for her came during the Golden Globes when co-hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler joked about her love life.

“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women,’ ” Swift recalls.

The singer keeps a 24-hour bodyguard at her penthouse apartment in Nashville.

“It’s because of the guys who write and say they want to chain me up in their basements,” she says.

“One was in California and drove all the way to Nashville and tried to get into this building.”
