Good work, Batman — now take it easy on the bangers and mash!

A pot-bellied British version of the Caped Crusader showed up at a police station in the northern English city of Bradford recently — hauling in an accused criminal.

Stunned cops gladly accepted the unexpected bust of a 27-year-old man wanted for handling stolen goods.

“I’ve caught this one for you,” the mystery crime fighter proudly announced, police said.

He then vanished.

“Last week, we had a very strange occurrence at the police station when a male wanted for an offense on our area was ‘escorted’ into our help desk at Trafalgar House by Batman,” the police said in a statement.

Robin did not accompany Batman into the police station.

Batman hasn’t been spotted since the odd Feb. 25 arrest, which was captured on the West Yorkshire police station’s closed-circuit TV.

Cops believe the suspect might have known the costumed vigilante because he didn’t seem to offer any resistance as he was dragged into the station by the scruff of his neck.

Owners of a local costume store recalled selling a similar Batman outfit days before this “very strange occurrence.”

Kathryn Sutcliffe, of The Joke Shop, said the customer wanted the gray Batman suit, similar to the one Adam West wore in the 1960s television show.

“Usually, they want the ‘Dark Knight’ costume, but he wanted this one,” Sutcliffe told the BBC.

“He wanted the one with the muscly chest as well,” she added.
