Gotta pay for V-Day lovin’

Scoring on Valentine’s Day doesn’t come cheap.

It costs the average guy about $218 in dinner and other gifts to get his girlfriend or wife in the sack on Cupid’s holiday, according to a study by SeekingArrangement.com.

“Men want to take advantage of this holiday,” said site spokeswoman Angela Jacob Bermudo.

“Whether it’s a single guy who wants a new relationship or a married man who doesn’t have as much sex — they see Valentine’s Day as a way to think, ‘If I spend more maybe she’ll reward me.’ ”

In the sugar-daddy Web site’s questionnaire, around 20,000 single, committed and married men, ages 18 to 60, dished pillow talk from their last three Valentine’s Day dates.

One self-proclaimed sugar daddy said he antes up, fearing a celibate night.

“I shell out big money because if I don’t, I’m in the doghouse,” he said.

The study also stressed the disconnect between the sexes when it comes to financial foreplay.

Women put jewelry and handbags at the top of wish lists, while men thought lingerie followed by flowers were instant aphrodisiacs.

John Oppenheimer, 35, said he’s hoping he’s going to get lucky on the cheap.

He’s only planning to spend $80 on his wife, for a box of Teuscher chocolates.

“We’re trying to have a baby, so I don’t really have a choice,” the hopeful future father from Westchester told The Post. “[Sex] is more scheduled now. I got her something to try to bring the romance back.”

Several women sounded off on how the men in their lives learned the hard way that they better not skimp on Valentine’s Day if they’re hoping hope for more than just a kiss goodnight.

“Five years ago he gave me this delicate tennis bracelet and Tiffany’s ring,” one woman said.

“Last year he brought home Russell Stover candy from Walgreens. Needless to say, I have a new sugar daddy now.”
