Bros busted in rob slay

Two homeless brothers and a gal pal were busted in the vicious slaying of a Hamilton Heights man, authorities said.

Ralph Stokes, 52, and his brother Keith Stokes, 50, were arrested Friday in the murder of Charles Romo, 48, after being nabbed through surveillance video in the building, police sources said.

Detectives believe it was a robbery gone bad, the sources said.

Romo’s housekeeper discovered him gagged and bloodied in his Hamilton Place apartment near 141st Street at about 10:20 a.m. Jan. 28, the sources said.

The two brothers allegedly took his wallet and gave his credit cards to Keith’s girlfriend, Bridgette Cash, 38, who is also homeless, the sources added.

The brothers were charged with second-degree murder. Cash was charged with grand larceny, as well as criminal possession of stolen property.
