An eatery to lure tourists off buses

The Cambria Suites hotel anchoring Harlem’s Victoria Theater will include at least one moderately-priced large restaurant to accommodate 200-to-300 people.

“The restaurant will be for hotel guests and also tourists who are seeing Harlem on a bus — we want to get those folks off the bus,” Exact Capital’s Craig Livingston told Side Dish.

The 210-key hotel at 233 W. 125th St., between Frederick Douglass and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. boulevards, will have a 5,000-square-foot event space ballroom, along with a 206-unit apartment rental building.

The project’s 24,000 square feet of retail space will also offer a cultural arts center for the Apollo Theater Foundation, Classical Theater of Harlem, JazzMobile and the Harlem Arts Alliance.
