Miami ekes out victory to stay unbeaten in ACC

Kenny Kajdi sunk a 3-pointer with 39 seconds remaining to boost No. 3 Miami to a nail-biting 45-43 victory over upset-minded Clemson last night in Clemson, S.C.

The Hurricanes (21-3, 12-0 ACC) clung to an 18-16 halftime lead over the Tigers (13-11, 5-7 ACC). Kadji led Miami with 12 points, and Jordan Roper was high scorer for Clemson with 19 points.

Michigan 79, Penn State 71

In Ann Arbor, Mich., Trey Burke scored a season-high 29 points and freshman Glen Robinson III matched a career high with 21 to help No. 4 Michigan (22-4, 9-4 Big Ten) bounce back from an embarrassing loss to Michigan State with a triumph over Penn State.

Louisville 50, USF 41

In Tampa, Russ Smith scored 15 points and No. 12 Louisville (21-5, 9-4) stayed within a game of first place in the Big East.

Arizona 68, Utah 64

In Salt Lake City, Mark Lyons scored 18 points as No. 9 Arizona (21-4, 9-4 Pac-12) defeated Utah to snap a two-game skid.

Wisconsin, 71, Ohio State 49

In Madison, Wis., Ben Brust and Jared Berggren each scored 15 points as No. 20 Wisconsin (18-8, 9-4 Big Ten) routed Ohio State (18-7, 8-5).

Rider 67, Marist 63

In Lawrenceville, N.J., Daniel Stewart notched his fifth double-double of the season as Rider (15-13, 10-6 MAAC) swept its season series with Marist (7-20, 4-12).
