O, Tiger putter around

WASHINGTON — President Obama made the most of his boys-only weekend getaway in Florida yesterday, playing golf with the sport’s current No. 2 player, Tiger Woods.

The president teed off with the famous philanderer — who last month won his 75th title — at the Floridian Yacht & Golf Club in a hush-hush matchup that the White House press corps learned about through Twitter.

“The president is arriving at The Floridian range. Awaiting is Tiger Woods and club owner Jim Crane. Historic day in golf,” golf writer Tim Rosaforte, who is a club member, tweeted from inside the clubhouse.

The White House Correspondents Association launched a protest after the media was barred from covering the game or getting photos at the private club of Woods with Obama — who on Thursday boasted that his administration is the most transparent in history.
