Do your presentations end up as a bunch of boring, text-heavy slides?
Haiku Deck makes it easy for you to create beautifully designed presentations for free, straight from your iPad.
To begin making your presentation on Haiku Deck, just type a title and choose from one of five free themes that affect the font, text size, color palette and appearance of images on your slides.
You can type your text onto each slide straight from the app and choose from several layouts for how it should be arranged.
Haiku Deck will pull up words you used, and the app will show you free photos that represent each idea. You can also search for images and upload your own.
Once you’ve selected the image you want, you can crop and reposition the photo with your fingers.
You can also create bar, pie and stat charts from the app and when you’re making your presentation, you can tap on the bar or pie piece you’re referencing to highlight it.
At the bottom of the app, slides are ordered as they’ll appear in your presentation; you can drag and drop to rearrange.
Once you save and publish your presentation, it can be viewed on any Web-enabled device or shared via e-mail, Facebook or Twitter. You can also set the presentation to private, if it contains confidential information. You can also export presentations created on Haiku Deck to PowerPoint and Keynote.
