Clueless at Columbia: Turning terrorists into profs

THE ISSUE: Columbia’s appointment of Kathy Boudin, convicted in the Brinks robbery, as an adjunct professor.

* John Podhoretz’s column on the monstrous Kathy Boudin is an example of right reason, a concept that prizes logic and sanity (“Columbia’s Pet Terrorist,” PostOpinion, April 3).

As such, it can only inspire blind fury among the ideologized imposters who infest our universities.

That the enablers of terrorist murderers preen and display their moral idiocy so proudly is a sad commentary on our society.

* I just read something in The Post that totally nauseated me: Boudin, the getaway driver of the 1981 failed Brinks armored-car robbery that left three dead, is now an adjunct professor at Columbia University after serving 22 years in prison.

She and her cohorts should have been sentenced to death for their crimes.

Then again, she fits right in at Columbia.

Her next job will be as an editorial writer for The New York Times.

* Boudin is a bomber, a killer and a terrorist.

How does she come to run free and be placed in a prized position, from which she can shape and inform young people?

Boudin confirmed who she is by choosing Bernadine Dohrn, another Weather Underground bomber and killer, to raise her child.

Somebody should make the connection between Boudin, Dohrn — and her husband, Bill Ayers — our president and all other left-wing revolutionaries.

They want to take us down, and with the help of our press and our universities, they just might.

We should starve these institutions and boycott the press. Then the conversation could begin.

I am tired of the reckless assault on our wellbeing.

* The Weathermen family is just like FALN, the Puerto Rican terrorist group that proudly claimed my father Frank Connor’s murder at Fraunces Tavern in 1975.

These groups were sworn to the violent overthrow of the United States.

When they realized they could not defeat America by bombings, murder and mayhem, they turned to academia, media and politics.

Is it any surprise that Boudin’s comrade Ayers is also a respected member of academia and an associate of President Obama?

Is it any surprise that Robert Redford’s upcoming film “The Company You Keep” reportedly glorifies these murderous thugs?

The unrepentant terrorists of the FALN were granted clemency in 1999 by the Clintons, masterminded by Eric Holder, for the purely cynical, political motive of Hillary’s run for the US Senate in NewYork.

These academics, politicians and media elites claim compassion as they glorify, romanticize and reward radical violence against innocent Americans.

Abraham Lincoln warned: “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”

* Leave it to liberal-infested Columbia to employ a former terrorist.

What can we expect from these liberals next — Bernie Madoff teaching a course on business ethics?

* Columbia recently let go its women’s basketball coach, Paul Nixon, whose record this season was 523.

Now it’s revealed that Boudin is a Columbia professor.

It’s proof that, to Columbia, it is better to be part of a murderous act than it is to lose basketball games.
