Fox will fire “American Idol” judges Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj and start from scratch next season — and forget about Jennifer Lopez rejoining the show, according to a report.

Original “Idol” judge Randy Jackson announced late yesterday that he’s leaving the show after the end of this season.

“To put all of the speculation to rest, after 12 years of judging on ‘American Idol’ I have decided it is time to leave after this season,” Jackson he told E! News.

“It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company . . . and other business ventures.”

As far as the other three judges, they’re all “gone,” according to a report on thewrap.com.

“They feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back,” a source told the site about the “Idol” producers.

The three remaining judges have options for next season, which won’t be picked up — and “Idol” executive producer Nigel Lythgoe could also be on the way out, according to the report.

Lopez, the former “Idol” judge who’s returning to sing on next week’s finale, won’t join the revamped show, according to the report — despite recent rumors that producers wanted to ax Carey midseason and bring Lopez back to “save” the show.

Ratings for “Idol” have sunk to their lowest levels in the show’s long history — they’re down over 20 percent — and hit an all-time-low of 10.8 million viewers Wednesday night.

For the season, “Idol” is averaging nearly 15 million viewers over its two nights — good for 11th place and 13th place for its Wednesday and Thursday editions, respectively, according to Nielsen.

By comparison, NBC’s talent show, “The Voice,” is averaging 14.4 million viewers and is ranked 14th out of all prime time shows — but has beaten “Idol” in the advertisercoveted demo of adults 18-49.

Minaj, interviewed yesterday by “Idol” host Ryan Seacrest on E!, didn’t directly answer the question of whether she’ll be back next season.

“That’s a million-dollar question,” she said. “I have to say this all the time, but I want people to know it’s genuinely from my heart.

“I love the people on ‘Idol.’ I genuinely do. If I had to do this all over again, I would have done ‘Idol.’ Because it’s fun, it’s laughs. It’s kind of sad that what people read all the time is only when something is negative.

“But they don’t realize that we built a family.”

Candice Glover, Angie Miller and Kree Harrison are the remaining contestants vying for the “Idol” crown.

The season finale airs next Thursday.

Fox officials had no comment when contacted by The Post.
