Ariel Castro kept creepy mannequin, would drive around with doll in car

The sadistic Cleveland dungeon master drove around with a female mannequin with a wig.

Ariel Castro also scared his wife with the doll – startling her so she fell down and hit her head.

“The mannequin was something he kept in his house or the garage or the car and he would move it around,” said his late wife’s sister, Elida Caraballo.

“It was the top half, it wasn’t on a stand. It was a dark brown mannequin with beady eyes and sandy hair.”

Castro once scared Figueroa with the dummy by jumping out at her as she carried groceries home. She fell and hit her head, relatives said.

Her husband Frank Caraballo told the Daily Mail that he used to drive around with the mannequin.

“I remember he used to drive it around on the street. He would drive around and put it next to him just to get attention. I remember thinking, ‘Man that Ariel, what is wrong with him?’”

“I’m sure they will find it in that house,” he said. “He would never get rid of it.”

Castro’s nephew said the former school bus driver even threatened him with it.

“He would say, ‘Act up again, you’ll be in that back room with the mannequin,’” he told the Associated Press.

Castro was charged this week with imprisoning three women whom he beat and raped over a terrifying decade in his ramshackle Cleveland home.

He repeatedly impregnated one woman, Michelle Knight, 32 – each time forcing her to miscarry by beating and starving her.

One of Castro’s daughters blasted her sick father, who could face the death penalty if he is charged with murder in the gruesome abortions of at least five babies.

“He is dead to me,” Angie Gregg said. “There will be no visits; there will be no phone calls. He can never be Daddy again. I have no sympathy for the man.

“I wonder this whole time, how he could be so good to us, but he took young women, little girls, someone else’s babies, away from these families and over the years never felt enough guilt to just give up and let them free.”

When she’d visit, Gregg told CNN her father “would take forever to come to the door,” and even then he’d direct her to the back door.

Her father leaving the dinner table without explaining why — and once gave an excuse why she was not allowed upstairs into her old room.

“Oh, honey, there’s so much junk up there. You don’t want to go up there,” he told her.

Castro described himself as “cold blooded” during interviews with cops, according to WKYC.

Sources said that he was arrogant and was only remorseful that he was caught.

The news came as the Ohio Attorney General announced that a DNA test confirmed Castro is the father of the 6-year-old girl conceived and born in the Cleveland house of horrors.

The mother, Amanda Berry, gave birth to the little girl in a kiddie pool on Christmas Day 2006 — and Castro forced Knight to help deliver the child.

He told her that if the child died, so would she.

Knight’s mother, Barbara, has reportedly not been allowed to visit her daughter in the hospital, after the woman asked that no visitors be allowed in.
