Phone dropper’s fatal flub

A Bronx DJ accidentally dropped his iPhone on the tracks early yesterday — and was electrocuted when he tried to grab it, police sources said.

Francisco Diego Jr., 22, alerted a booth clerk at the Wakefield-241st Street station at about 1 a.m. that he dropped the phone on the tracks, sources said.

She told him to wait for help but Diego didn’t.

He hopped between two cars of a downtown 2 train and was zapped by the third rail when he reached down for the phone, sources said.

He was then hit by the train. He died at Jacobi Medical Center.
