Bieber monkey $panked

Justin Bieber’s gone bananas.

The whacky pop singer tried to sneak his beloved pet capuchin monkey, Mally, through German airport customs last week, only to have the terrified primate seized and tossed in quarantine.

Now the erratic teen idol faces a $15,000 fine.

“When he went through customs, he didn’t have the documentation necessary to bring the capuchin monkey into the country, so the animal had to stay with authorities,” said customs spokesman Thomas Meister.

Bieber had flown in from LA on a private jet accompanied by Mally to perform in Munich Thursday. When he set off for a concert in Austria, the monkey was no longer with him.

“Justin has been acting like a right diva. He’s out of control and lives in an alternative reality to the rest of us,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “He didn’t think about the potential risks of flying a monkey from one continent to another. He and Mally go everywhere together.”
