NCAA tournament Elite Eight picks (Sunday)

Each game day during the NCAA tournament, the Post’s Marc Raimondi, Anthony Sulla-Heffinger and Justin Terranova will be providing you with their input for that day’s games.

For Sunday’s Elite Eight matchups, Raimondi loves blue. He has Michigan and Duke advancing to the Final Four.

SOUTH REGION – ARLINGTON

(3) Florida vs. (4) Michigan: 2:20 p.m., CBS

Trey Burke just isn’t going to let his team lose. The Michigan point guard was the best player in the country all season and his 3-pointer in the closing seconds of regulation against Kansas in the Sweet 16 cemented it. Burke is putting the Wolverines on his back all the way to the Final Four. Billy Donovan has done one of his best coaching jobs this year at Florida without a ton of true stars. But the Gators’ run will come to an end Sunday.

Prediction: Michigan 82-77

MIDWEST REGION – INDIANAPOLIS

(1) Louisville vs. (2) Duke: 5:05 p.m., CBS

On paper, this is the best game of the entire tournament. Louisville presses and runs and makes life hell on an opponent. Duke, meanwhile, plays a modest tempo and excellent halfcourt defense. Can Seth Curry and Rasheed Sulaimon contain Russ Smith and Peyton Siva, though? No one has all tournament – and not really all year – but the Blue Devils look to be up for the challenge. Smith and Siva can have bouts of inconsistency. It’ll come at the wrong time here and Mason Plumlee will have a huge game.

Prediction: Duke 73-68
