The Brooklyn thug accused of shooting a cop in the head will stand trial in June, a judge ordered today.
Luis Ortiz, 22, blasted Det. Kevin Brennan during a struggle in Bushwick last year, prosecutors charge.
Brennan sat in Brooklyn Supreme Court with his wife, staring at Ortiz’s back during the brief proceeding.
Ortiz will begin trial will begin June 11 with pretrial hearings slated to start May 29, ordered Judge Albert Tomei.
