WATCH: Vicious attack against 56-year-old woman in robbery

Disturbing surveillance video shows the brutal beating of a 56-year-old woman by a robber in a Borough Park train station.

The victim can be seen after she exited a southbound F-train at the 18th Avenue subway station around 2:40 a.m., March 9. A hooded thug follows her down the stairs, shoves her into a door, grabs the hood of the victim’s coat and shakes her until he manages to slam her to the ground.

The robber grabs the woman’s black purse, while she tries to get up from the floor, the video shows. The vicious thug kicks the victim in the chest and stomps on her to keep her down, then empties the contents of her purse on the floor and rummages through the spilled goods.

The woman manages to grab her backpack and run out while the suspect chases her down again.

Miraculously the victim only received bumps and bruises, police said.

The suspect is believed to be in his 20s, about 150 pounds and wore a black hoodie with an Italian fraternity’s letters, “Alpha Phi Delta,” on the front and “Stugotz” with the number 27 on the back.

Police have identified him sources said, but they are not releasing the name.

They are questioning a person of interest but are not identifying him as a suspect.
