GOP stalls immigration reform

House Republican leaders issued a statement last night slamming the “flawed legislation rushed through the Senate” — the bill with a path to citizenship for people who came to the United States illegally.

Rep. Steve Israel (D-LI), a member of the House Democratic leadership team, said that Republicans were “slamming the door before we even sit down at the table.”
