Lifetime’s “Project Runway” is all about beautiful clothes but the show’s newest billboard focuses on models wearing nothing but their birthday suits.
In the billboard for the show’s 12th season, hosts Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn are seen in Victorian dress lording over a staircase filled with glistening naked models.
Klum smiles coyly from a throne while Gunn looks ready to hand out some punishment with the cane he’s brandishing.
Even though hands and limbs have been strategically placed to cover the model’s private areas, the billboard was too steamy for LA and banned.
Instead, a version of the ad will run with underwear placed on the models, according to TooFab.com.
New Yorkers, however, need not worry. The racy ad will be on billboards and in print magazines throughout the city.
