A man was in critical condition after falling from a six-story building in Hell’s Kitchen early this morning, authorities said.
The unidentified victim plunged into the courtyard between two apartment buildings on West 44th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues around 12:45 a.m., officials and witnesses said.
It wasn’t immediately clear if he jumped or fell.
“I heard a ‘boom,’ ” said Mario Michael, 57. “I saw a man down on the floor.”
The injured man was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
