The Miami man who posted a photo of his dead wife’s body on Facebook after allegedly killing her has written six books, including one about how he has saved marriages through communication.

Derek Medina, 31, posted the gruesome, bloody picture on the social networking site Thursday morning along with an apparent confession.

“I’m going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife love you guys miss you guys take care Facebook people you will see me in the news,” the post read. “My wife was punching me and I am not going to stand anymore with the abuse so I did what I did I hope you understand me.”

The picture shows a woman identified as Jennifer Alfonso bent over backward at the knees with her head in a corner of the room, which appears to be a kitchen. The woman’s arm is covered in blood and blood can be seen on the wall.

Police found the body in the South Miami townhouse Thursday. There was a 10-year-old girl at the home, authorities said, but she wasn’t injured. Derek Medina Sr., the man’s father, told WSVN that it was Alfonso’s daughter from another relationship.

Medina penned six e-books books, all of which are available on the site e-junkie and one, about how he saved his own marriage is in paperback for $19.99. The title is “How I Saved Someone’s Life and Marriage and Family Thru Communication.” Derek Medina Sr. said that his son and Alfonso were divorced and got remarried.

“This Book is a great book to learn how to make your marriage and relationship with others better by understanding the meaning of life and the purpose of living and being there for loved ones,” the book summary reads.

All of the e-book titles have long, absurd names, like “World Just Ask Yourself Why We Are Living a Life Full of Lies and How I an Emotional Writer Made All of My Professional Dreams Come True Blocking Society’s Teachings.”

In the summary of one, entitled “Humans Who Are Gifted and Can See The Supernatural Spirit Ghost World We Live in Called Ghost Haunted Adventures,” Medina claims he can hunt ghosts and once saved his wife from a poltergeist attack while in New York. In another, Medina says he’s has experience with aliens and UFOs — and he explains his comparison of humans and aliens.

Medina maintained a website EmotionalWriter.com.

Medina’s written Facebook post came around the same time the photo was published on the social networking site.

Medina told authorities later Thursday morning that he had a domestic dispute with his wife and then shot her. Fifteen hours earlier, Medina had changed his Facebook profile picture to one of himself, a woman and a young girl.

Medina and Alfonso had been married since April 2012, according to marriage records.

Derek Sr. told WSVN that his son came to him around 11 a.m. Thursday and confessed to the killing.

“He just said that his wife picked up a knife on him and they had a big fight and he shot her,” Derek Sr. said.

The elder Medina then drove his son to a South Miami police station where he turned himself in.

The 10-year-old girl, who the police removed from the home in a blanket, is Alfonso’s daughter from a previous relationship, Derek Medina Sr. said.
