Woman fatally struck by car in Harlem

A woman was struck and killed by a car in Harlem early today, authorities said.

Investigators believe the 21-year-old may have been trying to get into a moving car when she fell shortly before 4:35 a.m. on 133rd Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, according to a police source.

She was then hit by another car.

EMS rushed her to Harlem Hospital in critical condition, but she did not survive.

Police said she died about 4:35 a.m.

Her name was not released pending family notification.
