Check up on your ‘social’ image

Savvy job seekers and employees know to be careful what they post to Facebook and Twitter.

But if you want to get a sense of the online identity you’ve created through postings to these and other social networks, you might want to check out Vizify.

Vizify uses data from your social-media accounts to create a graphical bio.

You can connect Vizify to your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare and Instagram profiles. It will then show you, as infographics, words you tweet about most frequently, factoids, your career history, places you’ve been, activities you’ve checked into, photos and recent, popular quotes.

Your data is presented as a multipage profile, with the first page featuring a graphic with information from various categories, and subsequent pages devoted to particular categories.

You can edit, add or remove individual pages. For instance, if you’re not happy with what Vizify shows as the words you tweet about most frequently, you can curate that list.

You can use your Vizify bio as your personal website and add it to your online profiles and e-mail signature.

Vizify is currently free, but it may add paid premium features in the future.

The company is also considering supporting additional services like Google+ and Flickr.
