Tough turnaround for 11-1 Seattle Seahawks

49ERS (-2¹/₂) over Seahawks: Seattle is off a marquee Monday night win, beating New Orleans 34-7 and moving to 11-1, but playing a road game with only six days’ rest is difficult. San Francisco plays a second straight home game, and despite an 8-4 record has playoff pressure as the NFC No. 6 seed. This game comes down to the home-field edge as the Seahawks, who outgain foes by 129 yards per game at home, have averaged only 245 yards of offense in their first two NFC West road games while getting outgained by 47 ypg. Niners have won their last 10 against the spread when they are a favorite of less than six points, and add another win this week.

Chiefs (-3) over REDSKINS: Both teams have lost three in a row, leaving the ’Skins at 3-9 and Chiefs at 9-3 and entrenched as the top AFC wild card. KC’s aggressive defense is No. 2 in the NFL with 26 takeaways, and Washington has lost all five games by an average of 12 ppg when finishing with a negative turnover margin. Andy Reid already has knocked off the first three foes in his NFC reunion tour and gets the sweep.
